Illumination Mac Guff is a French animated movie studio. It has created movies such as the Despicable Me film series, The Lorax, Minions, The Secret Life of Pets, and Sing, produced by Chris Meledandri’s Illumination Entertainment for Universal Pictures. Illumination Mac Guff is currently working on animated movies such as The Grinch and the sequels of The Secret Life of Pets and Sing. Jacques Bled founded Illumination Mac Guff in 2011 after the acquisition by Universal Pictures of the feature animation division of Mac Guff Ligne, with its headquarters in Paris in France.
