يعجبني أن GMA لديها شراكة مع شركة أغذية عضوية حقيقية محلية توفر لجميع طلاب GMA وجبات خفيفة ووجبات غداء طبيعية تمامًا وكاملة. أتمنى أن يكون لديهم خيارات مخصصة أكثر من الخيارين المعروضين - قياسي أو نباتي. يتم تقديم الوجبات على طراز الأسرة ، ويخدم الأطفال أنفسهم ، لذا فإن الوجبات المخصصة ليست عملية. فهمت ذلك. لكن طفلي يعاني من حساسية تجاه منتجات الألبان ، وتميل العروض القياسية إلى استخدام الجبن بانتظام. لذلك نتعامل مع الروائح الكريهة والحساسية الخفيفة من الحليب مرة واحدة في الشهر على الأقل. لا أعرف كيف يتم التعامل مع الحساسية من الجوز ، لذلك إذا كان هذا مصدر قلق ، فيجب عليك طرح الأسئلة الصعبة!

بينما أتطلع إلى روضة الأطفال والمدرسة الابتدائية ، أنا واثق من أننا سنبقى مع GMA للسنوات القليلة القادمة ، على الأقل. لم أنوي قط تسجيل طفل في "مدرسة خاصة" ، خارج مرحلة ما قبل المدرسة. نحن نعيش على جانب KS وندفع الضرائب للعيش في منطقة تعليمية رائعة. لكن لا يمكنني تحديد شيء واحد يمكن أن تقدمه منطقة مدرسة Shawnee Mission لطفلي والذي سيكون أفضل من المؤسسة التي تتلقاها في أكاديمية Global Montessori.

المعلمين والإداريين نحن قاسين جدا مع ابني البالغ من العمر 3 سنوات. لقد سحبناه على الفور عندما اكتشفنا أنه أجبر على الجلوس في زاوية في مكتب المديرين لمدة 6 ساعات بمفرده. لم يتصلوا بنا وأخبرونا بقرارهم تأديبه بهذه الطريقة حتى نهاية اليوم. لو علمت أن هذا كان يحدث لكنا سنصطحبه مبكرًا. ما زلنا / ما زلنا أعاني من اضطراب ما بعد الصدمة خلال تجربتنا القصيرة العمر هناك ، ولا يمكنني حتى القيادة بجوار المدرسة مع ابني في السيارة ، وإلا فسيتم طرح تفاصيل عن تجاربه هناك. حولناه إلى مدرسة قريبة من مونتيسوري كانت أكثر دعمًا وتواصلت مع عائلتي بطريقة أفضل بكثير.
