لقد أعيد تصميم المناظر الطبيعية من خلال Armstrong وهذه الشركة Tolly لكننا شعرنا بخيبة أمل كبيرة. أنا وزوجي لا نعرف شيئًا فيما يتعلق بالبستنة ومصمم المناظر الطبيعية وتولي لم يساعدنا. لن أخوض في التفاصيل المتعلقة بـ Armstrong لأن هذه ليست مراجعتهم لكن Tolly تفتقر إلى الخبرة والتواصل. لدينا تربة طينية مثل الكثير في ولاية كاليفورنيا ولكن في ذلك الوقت لم نكن نعرف أو نفهم أي شيء عن التربة. لقد زرعوا النباتات في تربة طينية فقط لعمل ثقوب كبيرة بما يكفي لحجم الوعاء الذي دخلت فيه النباتات. كما أعرف الآن أن معظم النباتات لا تتحمل التربة الطينية وتحتاج إلى تعديل التربة. كانوا يعلمون أو كان ينبغي أن يعرفوا أن التربة بها تصريف سيئ وكان عليهم أن يعرضوا تعديل التربة قبل الزراعة. بسبب هذا ماتت العديد من النباتات وأنا أعمل بجد لتنظيف أخطائهم. اضطررت إلى حفر المنطقة وتعديل التربة للمساعدة في الصرف على بعض النباتات. مات كثيرون آخرون. إذا كنت أعرف فقط ما أعرفه الآن ، فلن أكون قد استأجرت أرمسترونج الذي أرسل هذه الشركة إلى تولي للقيام بعمل سيئ. يا له من ضياع للمال!
